Bocouture 100 units of botulinum toxin type A, injectable solution powder intended for intramuscular injection, which is purified from clostridium botulinum crops (Hall strain). Eccipienti: Human albumin and Sucrose. Do not use if the patient experiences hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the components, disorders related to muscle activity in case of ongoing inflammation. Once the solution is prepared, the product should be used immediately. Bocouture is a white powder that must be reconstituted before use with sodium chloride at a concentration of 9mg/ml per injection. Do not use the product if it has a cloudy appearance or there are lumps and/or foreign bodies in the solution.
What is Botox Bocouture?
Bocouture is a simple reversible solution created to temporarily eliminate wrinkles and marks on the face, especially between the eyebrows, without resorting to real surgery while being equally positive from a psychological point of view on patients. Despite being a temporary remedy, the skin is younger and smoother, but this does not mean that this therapy is not risk-free using botulinum type A toxin. The product is made with type A purified neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum with complex proteins removed through purification in order to inject it to improve glabellar lines, lateral preorbital lines and horizontal lines of the forehead. Unlike other types of Botox, this product does not have complex proteins added in the mixture, it contains only the active substance. Its function is clearly to block nerve impulses by preventing the muscle from contracting and lead to a temporary and reversible relaxation of the tissues.
Who is it recommended for?
This treatment is a very popular choice among adults under the age of 65 precisely to remove the signs of time and not have a heavy and fatigued look. The typical frowning of old age is caused by a muscle contraction that is not possible to control or prevent, therefore you need to intervene surgically or look for a valid alternative, such as Botox injections.
How does it work?
Thanks to botulinum toxin, Bocouture helps to relax the muscles by initially blocking nerve impulses. It is good to inform you that injections must be made by a qualified doctor to avoid risks. The diluted product is injected into the muscle area to relax the muscles preventing their constant contraction. The effect is temporary but you can agree with your doctor how many injection cycles to do in order to maintain the result without having scars or absent from work, if not for those a few hours before, during and after treatment. This solution is highly recommended by those who want to be able to improve their appearance without undergoing invasive solutions and also for those who fear pain.
What to expect after the treatment?
Apart from a little discomfort in the areas of the sting and any redness that will disappear after a short time, you can resume activities and habits even on the day of treatment. For particularly sensitive patients and for therapies that provide injection points in very delicate parts, the doctor will evaluate whether to anesthetize the part with a specific ointment for topical use.
Times and duration of treatment
The first results can be visible after 2 or 3 days, but the effects of botulinum therapy can be found after a month. The effects can last up to 4 months but the treatment is repeatable depending on the medical assessment. However, the intervals must not be less than three months or there is a risk of compromising the result. If the results are not found even in case of repeated injections, it is recommended to agree with your aesthetic doctor on alternative treatments, usually it happens when the doctor does not inject the drug at the exact points or injects little product, or the botulinum toxin is too diluted in the solution. The effects can last up to 4 months after treatment, so Bocouture is a temporary reversible solution for many patients. However, although this treatment seems harmless and very simple, it is not without side effects.
Some patients experienced muscle weakness and dizziness, so it is not recommended to drive the car or use machinery immediately after treatment. Some people have found muscle tenderness; itching and swelling are other possible side effects. Side effects common to pre-injection anxiousness include nausea, tinnitus, and temporary vasovagal reactions. In this case, it is better to call your doctor especially if you also have respiratory problems. Botulinum toxin contamination and the onset of botulism, neurotoxin intoxication, may be underway.
