Composition

Applications / Indications

Dosages

• For blepharospasm, an initial dose of 1.25 - 2.5 U (volume of 0.05 mL to 0.1 mL at each site) is recommended, injected into the medial and lateral pre-tarsal orbits of the upper lid and into the pre-eye - orbicular tarsal of the lower cover.
• For pediatric cerebral palsy, a total dose of 4U / kg body weight is recommended for the affected gastrocnemius muscle in patients with hemiplegia.
• In cases of diplegia, the recommended dose is 6U / kg of body weight divided between the two legs. The total injected dose should not exceed 200 U / patient at a time.
• For Glabellari wrinkles 20U can be injected but the dosage varies according to the client's presentation.

Effects

In blepharospasm you can appreciate the results in 3 days, seeing the most appreciable results after 2 weeks. For cases of pediatric cerebral palsy improvement can be noted within 4 weeks of the injection. Precautions

At the injection site and beyond the injection site, fatigue, muscle weakness, diplopia, ptosis, dysphagia, dysphonia, dysarthria, urinary incontinence and breathing difficulties may rarely occur. In case of overdose
