      What is Aqualyx?

Aqualyx is the alternative to cosmetic surgery and liposuction. It is a non-surgical aesthetic intervention useful for the treatment of localized adiposity. It is a micro gelatinous solution containing a micro quality of molecules with short half-life adipocytolytic action, able to modulate and intensify the absorption effect of the adipose tissue through the external application of radiofrequency and mechanical massage.

      Aqualyx ingredients

      • sodium chloride
      • buffer chemicals
      • modified deoxycholic acid
      • sugars of red microalgae
      • other sugars
      • water

      How does it work?

Aqualyx acts using an injection technique as the product is infiltrated with a specific technique called intralipotherapy, which needs specific tools and a doctor with qualification for the procedure. Injected through intralipotherapy, Aqualyx produces an inhibition of the panniculus allowing the ultrasounds that will be applied to the external skin surface to carry out the localized micro cavitation process, in order to enhance the drainage of organic fluids present in the treated area.

      What is it useful for?

This treatment is indicated in the non-surgical reduction of localized adiposity in the inner and outer thighs, in the inner knees and in the hips and abdomen, as well as where the presence of small and medium-sized localized adiposity is found, for example in the chin or in the back. Aqualyx is a solution without phosphatidylcholine in which the main agent is able to destroy fat cells as it acts as a detergent. It dissolves fat by destroying the cell membrane and triggering the adipocytolysis process, i.e. the localized fat melts without the need for invasive techniques such as that of liposuction. In fact, the membranes release water and triglycerides which will be expelled thanks to the kidneys and liver. Compared to other localized beauty treatments, Aqualyx is painless, effective despite not being evasive at all and faster. There are from one to four injection points and above all a smaller number of fat-dissolving treatments necessary to obtain the desired results.

      When is it recommended?

Certainly, even if the treatment is not invasive and does not involve surgery, it is advisable to undergo Aqualyx if you have an adequate weight or are slightly overweight, with a localized accumulation of fat. Think of women who are prone to accumulation of fat in the hips, abdomen, buttocks and thighs and so on. Even if you follow specific diets and exercise, it is difficult for everything to disappear by magic, you have to intervene in another way. Here are the treatment areas:

      • back
      • chin
      • hips
      • knees
      • stomach
      • thighs

      Contraindications

Aqualyx is absolutely not recommended for those who are heavily overweight and those with obesity problems.

What to do before a treatment with Aqualyx?

Before the actual treatment procedures, it is necessary to go to the doctor for a preliminary medical examination, the professional may request further medical examinations. Once suitability has been obtained, the product can be infiltrated exclusively with an intralipotherapy method, using special Lipoinject needles. The infiltration must be carried out homogeneously in the adipose tissue to be treated, for this reason it is recommended that experts use only intralipotherapy needles.

      Recovery times after treatment

Once the treatment is finished, the patient can freely return to his daily activities. It is only recommended, at least for the following twelve hours, to avoid the application of creams or cosmetics and exposure to direct heat sources, such as exposure to tanning lamps or sunbathing.

      Side effects

There may be particular reactions, such as small superficial hematomas or skin redness. It is completely normal and should be resolved within a few days. However, some patients experience transient pain and an itchy sensation that should not be underestimated, even if the drug is well tolerated. It is also possible that slight swelling in the treated area and soreness may occur, if these symptoms persist, it is better to consult a doctor. The technique is contraindicated in patients suffering from acute or chronic diseases, including autoimmune diseases, in subjects allergic and intolerant to medicines, in pregnancy and breastfeeding. As with all procedures involving infiltrations, there may be the possibility, albeit rare, of encountering infectious, allergic or skin irritation medical phenomena. In patients with coagulation disorders or in therapy with anticoagulant drugs, the product must be used with extreme caution.
